B. definition
C. Comparison/Contrast
D. Cause/Effect
E. Classification
F. Chronological order
I thought it was probably one of the useful patterns that i have seen yet. It pretty much gives you how to write an essay. There are specific ones that people pick to write an essay. I usually pick illustration, cause and effect, and chronological order. Not specifically in that order but thats what i use. The chapter was useful, especially for people that have trouble writing essays like me. 

Reflection on Body Piercings and Tattooing: Risks to Health

The story gives a good history on piercings and tattoos, which was new to me. The main reason why young people get piercings and tattoos is because it looks cool. Many do it to show someone they love or to have as a memory of someone. Personally, i dont have much concern about the hygene of tattoo places because i dont have many piercings other than the ones on my ears and i dont have any tattoos. It is understandable to inform the society about it but i think tattoos are a form of expressing who you are. Almost as a form of "art" as the story implied.
